Community Cycle Centre
When: Saturday
Where: Rear of the Stacey Centre Car Park
Time: 10am - 2pm
The Community Cycle Centre is a project run entirely by volunteers and supported by community donations.
Their aim is to recycle, repair and distribute bikes that were previously unloved, unwanted or abandoned. In return for a small fee to cover repair costs, these are then re-distributed to those without wheels.
The volunteers are happy to carry out a free bike check on your bicycle, checking frame, brakes, steering etc. To carry out repairs they will require the cost of parts and request a donation for their labour.
The project usualy has a variety of different sized bikes available, but are always happy to receive your donation of a bike you no longer need, so please do speak to one of the volunteers or drop your bike off on a Saturday morning to one of the team.
