Upper Hall - Studio - Skittle Alley

  • Located on the first floor, the Upper Hall measures approximately 8.5m extending to 12.5m. One wall is fitted with mirrors lending itself well for use as a functional studio for all kinds of exercise, fitness, martial arts, dance, or other performance art disciplines as a class or as a useful rehearsal space.

  • Please note that the adjacent kitchenette does not have cooking facilities, it is strictly for making refreshments or for use a serving hatch between the kitchenette and the Upper Hall. 

  • Located on the opposite wall is a full room length skittle alley. (usage of the Skittle Alley is included in the Hire Rates)

  • Available for regular group hire and private function hire from Monday to Sunday between 9am and 11pm.

Private Function Hire Rates:

£ 18.50 per hour

Group Hire Rate:

£ 16.50 per hour.

Projector Screen Hire:

Cost: £ 7 per hour

Terms & Conditions of Hire:

  • All above rates are for non-catered, venue room only hire, unless expressly indicated otherwise.

​​

  • All hirers MUST book enough time to allow for set-up, pack away and cleaning the room after their hire. We do not provide courtesy set up or pack away time.

​​

  • All hirers MUST return the room to an "as you found it condition" after hire. This includes re-stacking any chairs and tables used, sweeping and, if necessary, mopping the venue room floor, washing and wiping up of any equipment used from the adjacent kitchen and removing all of their rubbish from the premises at the end of hire.

  • Extra hours may be booked with any 'Special' or package hire sessions, at standard hire rate and are subject to availability.

  •  A non-refundable Booking Deposit of £25 is required to secure the date of your booking. The balance is due within 14 days of the hire.

​​

  • A Room Security Deposit of £50 is required to book all venue rooms and spaces. By prior agreement with the Centre Manager only, if alcohol is to be consumed on the premises a £100 Room Security Deposit will be required. The Room Security Deposit is refunded within 48 hours of hire, provided all Hire Booking Terms & Conditions have been met.

  • Hire is available by the hour or increments of 30 minutes after the first hire hour.
