Our popular Friday evening social club for adults from the LD Community is held in the Main Hall. We currently have over 40 registered members, several of whom are regular attendees and we are always ready to welcome new members. 

 

Our club patrons enjoy lots of opportunities for fun and lively social engagement with a choice of structured activities including gardening activities, football coaching, quizzes, bingo, board games, skittles, arts and crafts, cooking, games, music, with regular karaoke and disco nights and seasonal themed nights throughout the year including a Summer Barbecue and a Christmas Party. Phew! We also offer light refreshments, hot dogs and a small tuck shop.

Our friendly and experienced staff and volunteers are DBS checked and there is an appointed First Aid responder on site throughout the duration of all activities.

 

We ask all new members to complete a membership form before they attend, to enable our team to best support them during their time here.

 

New and current members, and their family members, are encouraged to discuss any aspect of our facilities and the club with our helpful team.

The Friday Club weekly admission fee is excellent value at only £4.00 per person - free to carers and support workers.
