Our popular Friday evening social club for adults from the LD Community is held in the Main Hall. We currently have over 40 registered members, several of whom are regular attendees and we are always ready to welcome new members. 

 

Our club patrons enjoy lots of opportunities for fun and lively social engagement with a choice of structured activities including gardening activities, football coaching, quizzes, bingo, board games, skittles, arts and crafts, cooking, games, music, table football and pool. Phew! We also offer light refreshments and a small tuck shop that our members run.

 

On the last Friday of each month the Friday Club transforms into a lively disco, often with karaoke facilities. In addition, we have several special themed nights throughout the year including a Valentine's Day Buffet, a Summer Ball in August and a Christmas Party in December.

 

To celebrate the return of Friday Club, we are holding a special "Masked Ball" themed Disco & Buffet.

Our friendly and experienced staff and volunteers are DBS checked and there is an appointed First Aid responder on site throughout the duration of all activities.

 

We ask all new members to complete a membership form before they attend, to enable our team to best support them during their time here.

 

New and current members, and their family members, are encouraged to discuss any aspect of our facilities and the club with our helpful team.

The Friday Club weekly admission fee is excellent value at only £4.00 per person - free to carers and support workers.
